About Us
Bio
My name is Kylee Harvey. I am the founder of Leash and Love. I offer a wide range of pet care services in the Burlington area and within a 5 mile radius.
In 2022, I was working in the dental field when my partner suffered a traumatic brain injury. I quit my job to focus on his recovery. As his recovery progressed and I began to think about going back to work, I couldn’t bear the thought of returning to the dental field. I’ve always had a passion for animals, nature, animal and nature photography, and being active. I couldn’t imagine doing anything better than running a pet care business where I could combine all of these passions. I began walking dogs and within only a matter of 3 months, my schedule was full not only walking dogs but also with driving dogs to daycare, doing drop ins for cats, and boarding dogs in my home. I have initiated a networking group for pet sitters and dog walkers in Vermont to connect, collaborate, and support each other. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in dog behavior and to expanding and growing my team. When I’m not caring for people’s pets or working on administrative duties, you’ll find me hanging out with my own dog, playing field hockey, partaking in pilates and yoga, or traveling the world with my partner, Lliam.

Meet the Team

Adele
Professional Dog Walker
Adele's superpowers at work are her strong communication skills and flexibility, which make her a natural fit for caring for pets and keeping their humans at ease. She's grown up with dogs her entire life — at one point having six pups at once, ranging from Jack Russells to a German Shepherd-Rottweiler mix!
She's eager to keep learning and growing in this role -from handling unexpected situations on walks to discovering more about herself along the way.
Outside of work, Adele is a long-distance runner, yogi, and loves spending her downtime watching and reviewing films. W Fun fact: she wrestled in high school and placed at states twice! She's also part of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

Sarah
Dog Walker
Sarah is bringing with her a natural curiosity and a gift for noticing the little things that make a big difference in pet care. She's especially passionate about observing animal behavior and loves learning about topics related to ecology.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys making macramé plant hangers, walking in nature, and getting lost in a good fantasy novel or biography. She also has a special place in her heart for fostering animals-an experience she says was one of the smartest and most rewarding things she's ever done.
A fun fact about Sarah: one of her foster dogs once shared the same name as her husband! To avoid confusion, she started calling her husband "human" for a while-something that still makes her smile today. That pup ended up being a family favorite, and they still keep in touch with his adoptive family.

Marin
Dog Walker
Marin brings a calm, patient energy to every visit and has a natural gift for understanding animal behavior -
especially with dogs who may be shy, reactive, or a little unsure of the world. She's excited to have the opportunity to help dogs who are reactive, shy, or fearful feel more confident.
Outside of work, you'll find her doing yoga or drawing and she loves to recharge with a cozy blanket, tea, and her favorite movies.
Fun Fact: She spent two weeks working with alpacas in Ecuador last summer!

Brenna
Dog Walker
Brenna brings a friendly face and contagious optimism to every walk. She's incredibly passionate about animals and has even studied animal behavior at UVM, deepening her understanding of how to best care for and connect with each pup. Outside of work, she enjoys writing poetry, hosting movie marathons with her roommates, and proudly reminding everyone she won her sixth-grade spelling bee (as she should!).
