About Us

Bio

My name is Kylee Harvey. I am the founder of Leash and Love.
In 2022, I was working in the dental field when my partner suffered a traumatic brain injury. I quit my job to focus on his recovery. As his recovery progressed and I began to think about going back to work, I couldn’t bear the thought of returning to the dental field. I’ve always had a passion for animals, nature, animal and nature photography, and being active. I couldn’t imagine doing anything better than running a pet care business where I could combine all of these passions. I began walking dogs and within only a matter of 3 months, my schedule was full not only walking dogs but also with driving dogs to daycare, doing drop ins for cats, and boarding dogs in my home. I have initiated a networking group for pet sitters and dog walkers in Vermont to connect, collaborate, and support each other. I'm currently continuing my education within a mastermind program called Dogco, where I get to learn from the best in the industry and have the privilege of meeting other pet care business owners from all around the country. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in dog behavior and to expanding our service area and continuing to grow our team to be able to provide outstanding care to even more pets. When I’m not caring for people’s pets or working on administrative duties, you’ll find me hanging out with my own dog, playing field hockey, partaking in pilates and yoga, or traveling the world with my partner of 14 years, Lliam.

Meet the Team

Sarah

Sarah is bringing with her a natural curiosity and a gift for noticing the little things that make a big difference in pet care. She's especially passionate about observing animal behavior and loves learning about topics related to ecology.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys making macramé plant hangers, walking in nature, and getting lost in a good fantasy novel or biography. She also has a special place in her heart for fostering animals-an experience she says was one of the smartest and most rewarding things she's ever done.

A fun fact about Sarah: one of her foster dogs once shared the same name as her husband! To avoid confusion, she started calling her husband "human" for a while-something that still makes her smile today. That pup ended up being a family favorite, and they still keep in touch with his adoptive family.

Marin.jpeg

Marin

Marin brings a calm, patient energy to every visit and has a natural gift for understanding animal behavior -

especially with dogs who may be shy, reactive, or a little unsure of the world. She's excited to have the opportunity to help dogs who are reactive, shy, or fearful feel more confident.

Outside of work, you'll find her doing yoga or drawing and she loves to recharge with a cozy blanket, tea, and her favorite movies.

Fun Fact: She spent two weeks working with alpacas in Ecuador last summer!

Fiona

Fiona brings a thoughtful, calm presence to every walk. She's a great listener who enjoys connecting with both people and pets, and she's especially interested in learning more about supporting reactive dogs and helping them feel successful.
Outside of work, Fiona loves drawing and painting, and she enjoys unwinding by painting her nails and listening to music.
A fun fact about Fiona? If she could travel anywhere, she'd head to Ecuador to see wildlife up close.

personalities and is excited to build more one-on-one connections with each pup.

Noah

Noah is a strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with others and is currently continuing his anthropology studies at UVM. Jaslina

Dog Walker

Jaslina is a kind, caring, and empathetic member of the Leash & Love team who loves spending time with animals. She grew up with dogs- including big, strong dogs- so she’s comfortable and confident handling dogs of all sizes. Outside of work, Jaslina enjoys reading, getting outside for some fresh air and sunshine, and is always excited to learn something new.

Liba

Dog Walker

Liba has always had a deep love for animals and a passion for learning more about their care. She attended vet tech school, giving her a strong foundation in animal care, and she has hands-on experience raising a Boerboel, a large and powerful breed that has made her confident and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes.

One of Liba’s biggest strengths is supporting others in their learning, growth, and success, and she brings that same patience and encouragement to the pups in her care. She’s especially interested in wellness and self-healing practices for both animals and humans, and she loves learning about ways to help animals feel their very best.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Liba enjoying a good book with a cup of herbal tea, experimenting with vegan meal prep and plant-based nutrition
